The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe

Okay this book was AWESOME!!! And, I just found out that they're making a movie of it and it comes out this year!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, anyways, this book is sort of a murder mystery/ revenge novel and it is so great. It's set in a dystopian world where pollution has basically ruined everything, and the only population is the Outpost, which is a large gold digging operation, and the raiders, or, the only other people who don't live in the Outpost. At the beginning of the book, (this is in the first chapter so I'm not giving anything away), Poe's boyfriend, Call, is killed by raiders while they are out on a mining trip. Poe then vows that the rest of her life is going to be devoted to getting her revenge on the raiders who murdered Call. Then she becomes captain of the last mining ship ever to be sent out by the Admiral. (The leader of the Outpost.) Then, when a traitor reveals himself on her ship, she must prove her loyalty to herself, her crew members, and her homeland. My favorite character is Tam, the cook on the ship. I like him because he is so nice and he is kind of great. You should definitely read this book soon because I loved it.
